CanTai supports Taiwan’s participation in the WHO and WHA / 加台經貿文化交流協會支持台灣參與WHO和WHA活動

On May 4 2024, Taiwanese communities rally together at Yonge and Dundas Square to support Taiwan’s participation in the WHO and WHA, building a resilient global health network!

Taiwan tirelessly making significant contribution to health of all people. Yet, despite its remarkable contributions to global health security, Taiwan is unjustly sidelined due to political reasons. This exclusion not only undermines Taiwan’s efforts but also weakens the collective fight for global health.

CanTai took a leading role in this event to call for our fellow Canadian to join our voice and embrace Taiwan as an integral part of the WHO.

2024年五月四日，加台經貿文化交流協會(CanTai)和眾多的台灣社團在Yonge and Dundas Square舉辦活動，支持台灣參與世界衛生組織（WHO）和世界衛生大會（WHA），以建立全面的全球健康網絡。

台灣是捍衛全人類健康權利的堅定夥伴。儘管台灣為全球健康安全做出了巨大貢獻，卻因政治原因而受到排斥。這種限制不僅阻礙了全球衛生工作，也限制了人類共同的抗疫努力。CanTai在此呼籲加拿大民間與政府支持將台灣納入WHO，為構建一個堅固的全球健康體系而努力！
